Multi-area Dynamic Economic Dispatching Based on Improved Differential Evolution with Crisscrossed Optimization Algorithm

Abstract
Multi-area dynamic economic dispatching (MADED) should satisfy requirements for power equilibrium constraint of each area in various time frames as well as ramp rate constraint of each generator. Meanwhile, MADED should consider valve point effect and multi fuel factor which may cause cost function non convex and nonlinear and lead solution more complex. In order to solve above problems, this paper presents a kind of improved hybrid algorithm called NW small world differential evolution with crisscrossed optimization algorithm which needs less convergence times and has higher precision. It adopts this algorithm to solve MADED problems of 10 units with 3 areas system simultaneously considering ramp rate, valve point effect and multi fuel, and then compares dispatching result with results of other algorithms. Comparison result indicates that this algorithm has more distinct advantage.关键词
