Effects of Probiotic on the Production Performance,Serum Immunoglobulin and Microorganism in Cecum of Fattening Pigs

Abstract
In order to investigate the effect of probiotic on the production performance,serum immunoglobulin and cecum microorganism of hybrid fattening pigs,60 Bamei hybrid fattening pigs were randomly allotted to 4 groups with 3 replicates per group and 4 pigs per replicate.Pigs in control group were fed the basal diet,pigs in antibiotics group were fed the basal diet supplemented with 120 mg/kg kitasamycin,pigs in group Ⅰ were fed the basal diet supplemented with 0.2% probiotic,Pigs in group Ⅱ were fed the basal diet supplemented with 0.5% probiotic.The experiment lasted for 90 days.Results showed that 0.5% probiotic in diet could significantly improve the pig weight gain,the content of IgA and IgG in serum and the number of Lactobacillus spp in cecum,decreased the feed conversion ratio,the level of serum cholesterol (CH),and the number of E.coli.Thus,supplement with 0.5% probiotic in diet of Bamei hybrid pigs could get good effect.关键词
