摘要

Abstract

A new kind of absolute measurement device of radon,which is establish by National Institute of Metrology (NIM),was used to research the differences of the α-energy spectrum of the condensate radon by changing vacuum pressure and the temperature of the cold finger.A method for calculating the activity of radon source accurately in the condition of that the resolution of spectrum is changing due to the foreign gases were introduced into the condensation chamber inevitably as time goes on.The results show that when the radon source was condensed,the foreign gases will decrease theresolution of spectrum.but use the method that is established according to the decay characteristic of radon and its progeny to calculate the activity of radon source,the result get from repeated measuring shows the consistency is within 0.45% in 5 hours,this is significant for the international comparison and quantity transmission of the activity of radon
