DAD-less optimization for fast handover in MIPv6
摘要
Abstract
Aiming at solving the problem of mobile node handover latency in MIPv6,this paper put forward a DAD-less optimization of fast handover in MIPv6.This scheme redrawed IPv6 address' s 64 bit interface identifier,divided it into 1 bit mobile identifier,32 bit home agent IPv4 address and 31 bit random number,so that it could guarantee the uniqueness of the 64 bit interface identifier in Internet,which no longer needed DAD(duplicate address detection) in handover in the mobile node when it moved to a different link.Finally,through the simulation experimental verification of the scheme,the results show that the scheme can achieve the seamless handover of mobile node without any DAD,and the mobile node handover latency decreases by about 25% compared with the standard MIPv6.关键词
