关天经济区对外开放水平比较研究
A Comparative Study of the Level of Opening-up of Cities in Guanzhong-Tianshui Economic Zone

Abstract
The Guanzhong-Tianshui Economic Zone, covering eight cities and/or districts across Shaanxi and Gasu provinces, is a pivotal area for building a strategic highland for the China's inland economic development and opening-up.A comprehensive evaluation index system involving a set of primary, secondary and tertiary indicators is established with primary indicators reflecting aspects of economic openness, infrastructure, tourism openness, ecological environment and human capital.Principal component analysis, factor analysis and cluster analysis are used to measure the level of opening-up among cities within the Guanzhong-Tianshui Economic Zone during the time span of 2007-2014.Results have shown that the general level of opening-up of cities in the Guanzhong-Tianshui Economic Zone has been on the rise while discrepancies exist among individual cities.According to the results of cluster analysis, three categories of cities regarding the level of opening-up have been observed: the first category only includes the city of Xi'an, the second category is mainly concentrated around the city of Tianshui, and the third category comprises Baoji, Weinan, Xianyang, Shangluo, Tongchuan and Yangling.关键词
