摘要

Abstract

By using the numerical assimilation simulation results analyzed by QuikSCAT satellite data with middle and small scale,the wind speed features of two bays:Liaodong Bay and Dalian Bay in season-representing typical months of 2008 were comprehensively analyzed.Firstly,the reliability of assimilation simulation of QuikSCAT satellite data was verified,which found that QuikSCAT data are closer to the measured values and is more suitable for regional data research.Research on wind speed of two bays found that the wind speed of Liaodong Bay is basically larger than that of Dalian Bay because of the former's greater area,especially in April and October.The comparison of daily variation of wind speed of two bays show that an opposite change trend exists in the morning,but from afternoon to night the trend becomes similar.Moreover,the gale in Liaodong Bay is frequent and longer and earlier than that in Dalian Bay.
