Study on opening and closing rule of turbine guide vanes

Abstract
In order to make the parameters meet the requirement of regulation and guarantee calculation in the hydraulic transition process of hydropower stations,it is very important to select a reasonable opening and closing rule of turbine guide vanes for ensuring the safe,stable,economical and reliable operation of hydropower stations.Based on the example of a hydropower station,the method of characteristic line is used to calculate the pressure fluctuation of the water hammer and the surging fluctuation in the surge chamber through the transition process calculation software.The results show that selecting the critical value 30 s of the opening time and the two fold line of closing rule can make the parameters such as the pressure of the volute end,the increase rate of unit speed and surge water level of the surge chamber meet the control standard.The results provide an important basis for rational selection of guide vane opening and closing rule.关键词
