Abstract
A New Account of the Tales of the World was written by Liu Yiqing.Liu Yiqing was able to compile such a document mainly due to the history of the Southern and Northern Dynasties, especially the documents such as Xiaolin, Shiyu, Yulin and Guozi.Liu Yiqing made good use of the documents from Yulin and Guozi, mainly to use the writing ways such as the original shift record, uncertainty, simplification, addition, resolution and notification, thus he successfully compiled A New Account of the Tales of the World.In the form of style, A New Account of the Tales of the World exists the writing ways of motto, dialogue, narration and diary, which is mainly affected by the profound influence of The Analects of Confucius.However, A New Account of the Tales of the World can creatively imitate The Analects of Confucius, which gave a far-reaching impact on the ShiShuo style.关键词
