The Negative Rhetoric of "Chang Yan"
摘要
Abstract
"Chang Yan" was a special work with deep thoughts and sharp writing style of the Eastern Han Dynasty.This feature was created because of negative rhetoric used by Chong Changtong.The classic political writing forms of the Eastern Han Dynasty had been broken, neither the contents nor the forms.As for the contents, the discussing form, namely, quoting Confucian scriptures in the essays had been broken.As for the sentence pattern, the four-character sentences and the seven-character sentences had been transformed.As a result, the four-character sentences, which were gentle and grave, became critical tools;the seven-character sentences, which were rhythmic, became the normal form of declared reform program.关键词
