Modeling and Validation of the Generalized Diesel Engine System for Water-jet Propulsion Speed Boats

Abstract
The structure of the rotation speed control system for the diesel engine equipped in a water-jet propulsion speed boat is investigated.A generalized diesel engine model which takes the diesel injection manipulating signal as input and the engine rotation speed as output is established.The model parameters are identified by using the data from a real speed boat.The comparison between the identification results and the measured data indicate the strong nonlinearity of the generalized diesel engine plant.It is demonstrated that the piecewise low order models proposed are able to describe the plant in steady state and transients.关键词
