干拉法制备散射偏光片实验研究
Experimental research on preparation of scattering polarizer by dry stretching method

Abstract
Scattering polarizer is a new type of translucent optical film which has a slight haze.When incident light is unpolarized, half of the light is transmitted, while the other is scattered.This scattering polarizer has application prospects on a transparent projection screen, but has not been industrialized yet.In this paper, the method of dry stretching polyvinyl alcohol doped liquid crystal (PVA∶LC) was used to prepare scattering polarizer.First, we prepared polyvinyl alcohol doped liquid crystal aqueous emulsion, flowed on flat glass and then dried to form a film.Then, we baked and stretched to about 4 times length with a small stretching machine, in order to get scattered polarizer samples.Finally, experimental results show that the transmittance of the sample is 40%, and the polarization efficiency is 57%.Using the sample as a screen to observe the projection effect, results show that rear projection of polarized light perpendicular to optical axis is the best.This paper is of reference significance for the realization of the industrialization of the scattering polarizer.关键词
