Abstract
Objective To translate the Headache Management Self-Efficacy Scale Short-Form(HMES-SF) into Chinese and to evaluate the reliability and validity of HMES-SF.Methods By convenience sampling method,132 hospitalized patients with headache in neurology department of Luohe Central Hospital from November 2015 to June 2016 were selected as the research subjects.According to the translation mode of the scale,Chinesization and cultural adjustment were conducted to the HMES-SF of English-version,and the HMES-SF of Chinese-version was applied to patients with headache to test its reliability and validity.Results The average content validity index(CVI) of the HMES-SF of Chinese version was 0.893,and the CVI of items ranged from 0.841 to 1.000.Two common factors were got through factor analysis and were named relieving strategies of headache(3 items) and control strategies of headache(3 items),the factor load of each item on its common factor was greater than 0.400.The Cronbach′s α coefficient of the HMES-SF of Chinese version is 0.829,and the Cronbach′s α coefficients of each dimension were 0.817,0.841 respectively(P<0.01).The split-half reliability coefficient r=0.764(P<0.01);the retest reliability was 0.812(P<0.01),and the retest reliability of each dimension was 0.796 and 0.828 respectively(P<0.01).Conclusion The HMES-SF of Chinese version has good reliability and validity,and can be used to evaluate the self-efficacy of patients in headache management.关键词
