Research Progress of Gamma-glutamyl Transpeptidase and Metabolic Syndrome
摘要
Abstract
Gamma-glutamyl transpeptidase (GGT) is widely found in organisms.On the one hand,it is an important enzyme for extracellular glutathione(an important antioxidant) metabolism,and plays an important role in maintaining the level of intracellular glutathione.On the other hand,it can participate in the oxidative stress reaction and increase the production of oxygen-free radicals,and it is closely related with the occurrence and development of the important components of metabolic syndrome,such as obesity,diabetes and prediabetes,dyslipidemia,hypertension,and hyperuricemia.The paper summarizes the research progress of GGT and metabolic syndrome,and provides references for the prevention and treatment of metabolic syndrome and its components.关键词
