Abstract
Objective To understand the inputs and sources of souvenirs funds,the standards of souvenirs and other grants of apheresis platelets in blood services nationwide,in order to understand the direction for honoring and acknowledging citizens who commit in voluntary blood donation activities in the future and to promote voluntary blood donation in the entire country.Methods A questionnaire was designed and issued from July 1st to August 31st in 2015.339 were retrieved at the rate of recovery of 95.76％.The recovered data were confirmed as valid.Results From the various sources of funding souvenirs in national blood service,the proportion of self-financing institutions showed a sharp decline,while financial allocations showed a significant upward trend.The other sources increased slightly,which indicated that all levels of governments have gradually placed their attention to the blood service more than before.According to the amount of blood collected,32 blood centers were divided to explore the use of funds for souvenirs.As a whole,the greater the amount of blood collection,the greater the proportion of financial allocations,and the smaller the proportion of self financing institutions.From 307 blood stations,this also showed to be true:the greater the amount of blood collection,the greater the proportion of self financing institutions,and the smaller the proportion of financial allocations.There was little difference between the blood center and the blood station in their standards for souvenir giving during blood collection.Conclusion Many local governments have increased their attention to blood transfusion,but with the gradual increase in demand for blood supply,solely attracting blood donors with souvenirs and alternative subsidies will cause adverse consequences for voluntary blood donation in China.By improving the retention rate of blood donors based on quality of service for blood donors,improving the blood donation environment and physiological and psychological health of blood donors,enhancing the social status of the volunteer blood donors,guiding the blood donors through a transition from material rewards to perceiving blood donation as a societal obligation,inducing a high degree of participation and loyalty from volunteer blood donors are more effective guarantees for blood safety.关键词
