Abstract
Objective To evaluate the effectiveness of clinical application orthokeratology in the treatment of high degrees of myopia. Methods We randomly selected high myopia in ophthalmology outpatient of our hospital from June 2015 to December 2016,who were 7 to 12 years old,fitting orthokeratology lens wearing 8~10h every hight. Follow up 6 Month, The changes of visual acuity, equivalent diopter, corneal curvature and axial length were measured. According to the degree of myopia patients were divided into high myopia Ⅰ (-6. 00~-8.00D) group,high myopia Ⅱ (-8. 00~-10.00D) and high myopia Ⅲ (> 10.00D)group. Among them, 27 cases had high myopia Ⅰ,and the other was high myopia Ⅱ,including 32 eyes in 64 eyes and 21 eyes with high myopia Ⅲ in 50 eyes. Results After 6 month, compared with before wearing,the difference was statistically significant in patients with uncorrected near visual acuity, diopter,corneal curvature ( P< 0.01),while there was no significant difference in axial length (P > 0.05). The varying high myopia group between any two groups of visual acuity had significant difference (P < 0.01) through the comparison between groups,high myopia Ⅲ group uncorrected near visual acuity,diopter and corneal curvature was significantly improved. Conclusion Orthokeratology for the treatment of children with high degree of myopia is effective, especially in the high myopia Ⅲ.关键词
