摘要

Abstract

Objective To observe the regulation of expression of mGluR1 protein at lateral geniculate body (LGB) of monocular form-deprivation amblyopia rat within sensitve period of visual development, in order to explore its role in the pathogenesis of amblyopia. Methods Rats aged 2 weeks old were randomly divided into normal control group and experimental group, and unilateral eyelid suture was performed on experimental group rats for 30 days and the models of form -deprivation amblyopia were established. We used immunohistochemistry technology to detect the changes of mGluR1 protein expression. Results Compared with normal control group and ipsilateral LGB of deprived eyes group, the expression of mGluR1 protein in contralateral LGB of deprived eyes group are remarkable decreased,and the dif-ferences were significant (P >0.05). There were no significant differences between normal control group and ipsilateral LGB of deprived eyes group ( P>0.05). Conclusions After form-deprivation,the expression of mGluR1 protein is de-pressed in the sensitve period of visual development, which induce the connection of synapses are reduced between neu-rons,then synaptic plasticity changed, and this may be one of the pathogenesis of amblyopia.
