Verification of a general SPECT performance detection system on system performance part of SPECT

Abstract
Objective:To test the reliabilities of general software and phantom suite of single-photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) quality control and the general testing system of SPECT quality control.Methods: The main system performances of 3 SPECT equipments from 2 manufacturers were tested by using general testing system of SPECT quality control and general QC software and phantom suite(self-test). And then to compare these results with those results of special software and phantom suite from manufacturers(manufacturer-test). Results: (1)System planar sensitivity: There was a very good consistence between the self-test and the manufacturer-test for the three SPECT equipments, and the relative deviations between the self-test and the manufacturer-test for all of them were below 0.2%. (2)System spatial resolution: There was a very good consistence between the self-test and the manufacturer-test for the three SPECT equipments, and the relative deviations of them also were below 0.2%. (3)Tomography spatial resolution: There was a very good consistence between the self-test and the manufacturer-test for the three SPECT equipments, and the relative deviations of them were below 5%. (4)Spatial resolution for whole body: There was a very good consistence between the self-test and the manufacturer-test for the three SPECT equipments, and the relative deviations of them were below 0.2%.Conclusion:The general software and phantom suite of SPECT quality control and the general testing system of SPECT quality control are reliable and the testing results are accuracy.关键词
