Quality Evaluation of Scutellaria Baicalensis from Different Habitats and Processed Products

Abstract
Objective To compare the quality of Scutellaria Baicalensis from different habitats and processed products. Methods The content of baicalin in herbs and processed products was determined by HPLC. Meanwhile. the contents of ash and extraction were deter-mined by the general rules of Chinese Pharmacopoeia 2015 Edition. Results The quality of Scutellaria Baicalensis had significant dif-ference between different habitats. Compared with pre-processing. the content of baicalin. ash and extraction had significant differ-ence. The contents of baicalin and alcohol extract in the processing process were decreased followed by Scutellaria Baicalensis. Wine Scutellaria Baicalensis, Coke Scutellaria Baicalensis, Charred Scutellaria Baicalensis in the course of processing. but the ash contents were increased in this order. Conclusion To evaluate the quality of Scutellaria Baicalensis from different habitats. which can provide the ba-sis on the quality control.关键词
