Clinical Efficacy of Mometasone Furoate Aqueous Nasal Spray Combined with Montelukast Sodium in Treating OSAHS and Its Effect on Plasma Orexin-A Level

Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of Mometasone Furoate Aqueous Nasal Spray combined with Montelukast Sodi-um in treating obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome(OSAHS) and its effect on plasma Orexin-A level. Methods Totally 156 patients with OSAHS diagnosed by polysomnography(PSG)were selected as the experimental group,45 normal children were selected as the control group. The Orexin-A levels of the two groups were measured before treatment. The experimental group was treated with Mometasone Furoate Aqueous Nasal Spray combined with Montelukast Sodium for 3 months,after treatment,the plasma Orexin-A level was measured by radioimmunoassay,the AHI and minimum LSaO2 were recorded by PSG. Results Before treatment,The Orexin-A lev-els of the experimental group was significantly higher than that of the control group,but it decreased obviously after treatment(P < 0. 05). After treatment ,the level of LSaO 2 in the experimental group was significantly higher than that before treatment (P < 0. 05 ). Plasma Orexin-A level was negatively correlated with LSaO2 in children patients with OSAHS,and positively correlated with AHI. Conclusion Mometasone Furoate Aqueous Nasal Spray combined with Montelukast Sodium for treating OSAHS has good effect,it can reduce the plasma Orexin-A level and raise the LSaO2 level in the children patients. The Orexin-A level was negatively correlated with LSaO2 in children patients with OSAHS,and positively correlated with AHI,which could be used as an indicator of the severity of children patients with OSAHS.关键词
