Preparing LiCr3O8 for lithium battery by high temperature solid state method
摘要
Abstract
The high temperature thermal stability of chromic acid lithium(LiCr3O8)prepared at different sintering temperatures and its chemical compatibility with the eutectic nitrate were analyzed,the electrochemical performance at different temperatures and current density of the battery composed of LiCr3O8 and Li-Mg-B alloy was tested.The high temperature thermal stability of LiCr3O8 obtained at all temperatures and the chemical compatibility with molten nitrate salts were good and they were suitable for high temperature lithium battery cathode materials.Raising the discharge temperature enhanced the reactivity,but increased the selfdischarge of the cell.LiCr3O8 prepared at 350 ℃ sintering showed the lowest internal resistance of the battery during discharge and suitable for the high temperature lithium battery cathode material working in the range of 200 ~ 300 ℃.关键词
