Abstract
A plasma-chemical hybrid model was established to study the characterization method of cracking extend for air-gap discharge in internal insulating materials of power cable connector.The model contains the Poisson equation,electron transport equation,electron energy transport equation,heavy particle transport equation and the plasma-chemical reactions of 12 kinds of particles in the air-gap discharge of power cable joint.At the same time,the secondary electrons emission and the surface charge accumulation process were also taken into account.Based on the above model and the finite element software,the air-gap discharge process of insulating materials in the cable connector was simulated.In addition,the discharge pulse waveforms with different gap lengths were obtained using parameter scanning method to count the phase,frequency numbers and amplitude in per circle.Statistics suggest that characteristics of discharge phase,frequency numbers and amplitude have significant differences as the increase of air-gap length.Accordingly,the cracking processes of cable joint were divided into initial stage,development stage,and pre-breakdown stage.The characteristics of phase,frequency numbers and amplitude provide a method for the cracking assessment in the insulating air gap discharge of power cable connector.关键词
