Abstract
Objective:To investigate the feasibility and safety of transumbilical single incision laparoscopic-assisted resection of the mesosalpinx cyst in children.Methods:The clinical effectiveness of 8 patients who suffered from mesosalpinx cyst and underwent laparoscopic transumbilical single incision mesosalpinx cystectomy from Jan.2013 to Jan.2016 were retrospectively reviewed.After definite laparoscopic diagnosis of mesosalpinx cyst,the pedicle of cyst was fixed by atraumatic forceps,umbilical incision was enlarged to 2 cm,cyst was pulled to the incision,after puncture and decompression of cyst,the cyst was decreased so that it could be brought out from the umbilicus,cystectomy was routinely performed in vitro.Results:All of the procedures were successfully completed without conversion to open surgery.Postoperative pathology confirmed that all cases were mesosalpinx simple cyst.Average operative time was (40±16) min.The patients were discharged from hospital within 4-6 d after the operation.No complications occurred,no one recurred during the follow up of 6-36 months.Conclusions:The umbilical single incision laparoscopic assisted treatment of pediatric mesosalpinx cyst is a safe and feasible operation.It is associated with the advantages of few trauma,short operation time,fast recovery,few postoperative complications and satisfactory cosmetic results.关键词
