Abstract
Objective To investigate the curative effect and adverse reactions of ferrous glycinate ( Ai Me Iron ) on treatment of iron deficiency anemia ( IDA) of pregnancy .Methods With multicenter , prospective and case-control method , altogether 202 pregnant women with IDA were divided into experimental group (107 cases) and control group (95 cases) based on outpatient service number .Patients in the experimental group were treated with ferrous glycinate and patients in the control group were treated with polysaccharideiron complex . After three months of treatment, red blood cell count (RBC), hemoglobin (Hb), serum ferritin (SF) levels and incidence of adverse reactions of patients were observed before and after treatment .Results After three months of treatment , RBC in the experimental group (3.98 ±0.44) was higher than that (3.72 ±0.55) in the control group (P=0.025).Hb in the experimental group was 117.33 ±9.17, which was significantly higher than that (111.56 ±10.88) in the control group (P=0.011).SF in the experimental group was 36.17, which was significantly higher than that (25.25) in the control group (P =0.030).One case in the experimental group had gastrointestinal reactions , and constipation occurred in two cases in the control group .The difference in adverse reactions was not statistically significant between two groups .Conclusion Ferrous glycinate can be used in treatment of IDA of pregnancy , and it is more effective than polysaccharideiron complex without increase of adverse reaction .关键词
