Abstract
To explore the application of BIM technology on steel structure design,the author has established a BIM model using the "Structure Design" module of Dassault System.Taking full advantage of embedded Enterprise Knowledge Language and Action function,modeling process of the single pylon,double cable plane hybrid girder cable stayed bridge is based on the "Skeleton-Template" methodology.The design flow of SFD-SDD is adopted.Application value of the BIM model is also investigated from aspects of design accuracy improvement and steel quantity statics.This paper concludes that the "Structure Design" module of Dassault System can improve the design efficiency of steel bridge in a way which conforms to most engineers' design habits.Compared with the ordinary two dimensional design,this BIM process has extensive advantages.关键词
