摘要

Abstract

A ultra wide-band antenna with low cross polarization was introduced.The antenna is made up of two Vivaldi antenna which has the features of small volume,low profile and low weight.Each element is placed vertically.The wide-band antenna was modeled using the ANSYS HFSS simulator.It operates at voltage standing wave ration of less than 2 with frequency from 3 GHz to 13 GHz.The antenna has a excellent impedance matching characteristic and a outstanding radiation characteristic.In order to reduce the rear flap of the antenna,a choke-slot is added to suppress the surface wave of the antenna.
