Progresses on the Cross-talk Between Sugar and Hormone Signaling
摘要
Abstract
Plant growth and development must be coordinated with numerous biological processes,notably with photosynthesis and the uptake of nutrients,in which the coordination of hormones and sugars,as well as the accurate association between them in diverse tissues are required.Recently,the study on their connection mainly focused on DELLA and PIF proteins,which act as the hubs in the cross-talk between sugars and hormones,like gibberellin,cytokinin,brassinosteroids,methyl jasmonate,abscisic acid and auxin.Thus,dissecting the cross-talk can not only further illuminate the molecular mechanism of plant growth,development and environmental response,but also provide original thinking and theoretical basis for crop improvement and breeding.关键词
