Ocean surface wind speed detection based on reflected signal of Beidou satellite

Abstract
By analyzing the relationship between the Beidou reflected signal and sea state,a method of using the one-di-mensional delay power spectrum area of the reflected signal to calculate the ocean surface wind speed indirectly under the coastal condition is proposed to process and analyze the data of Weihai coastal experiment. The correlation coefficient of the power spec-trum area with different thresholds and significant wave height(SWH)is analyzed to set the suitable power spectrum threshold, and establish the empirical relationship between the power spectrum area and SWH. The relation between the SWH and sea sur-face wind speed was established with data fitting. In comparison with the wind speed of the ocean station,the root-mean-square error of the inversion wind speed is 2.10 m/s,and the two results of the ocean station and the ocean surface wind speed calcula-tion method have good consistency. The validity of the method was verified.关键词
