Abstract

Based on the characteristics of a low grade porphyry copper and molybdenum ore in Heilongjiang,the flowsheet of bulk flotation of copper and molybdenum-separation of copper and molybdenum was adopted.The closed circuit test results show that the molybdenum concentrate contains 41.49% Mo at a recovery of 74.83%,copper concentrate contains 21.04% Cu at a recovery of 84.14% were obtained.It is evident that the copper grade of copper concentrate increased by 1.58% and copper recovery decreased by 1.28%.Meanwhile,the molybdenum grade of molybdenum concentrate decreased by 4.36%,but the recovery increased by 21.94% in comparison to the indexes of plant.The technical basis is provided for simplifying the process and achieving the efficient separation of copper and molybdenum.
