摘要
Abstract
Objective To chinesize Long - term Condition Empowerment Scale and to explore its applicability in middle - aged and aged patients with chronic diseases in Chinese communities. Methods Use the Brislin translation model to complete the chinesization of the scale. From November 2015 to January 2016,273 middle - aged and aged patients with chronic diseases receiving treatment in 4 community health service stations subordinated to a top three hospitals in Guangzhou City were selected by convenient sampling method. The General Information Questionnaire,Long - term Condition Empowerment Scale (Chinese version)and General Self - efficacy Scale (GSES)were used to investigate the subjects. The reliability of the scale was investigated by Cronbach′s α coefficient and split - half reliability. The structural validity of the scale was evaluated by factoranalysis. The internal correlation coefficient of the scale was calculated by Pearson correlation analysis. Spearman′s rank correlation analysis was used to calculate the criterion - related validity of the scale. Results The standardized Cronbach′s α coefficient of Long - term Condition Empowerment Scale (Chinese version)was 0. 950,split - half reliability was 0. 930,the standardized Cronbach′s α of each dimension was 0. 694 ~ 0. 877,the retest reliability was 0. 921,the average content validity was 0. 950, the correlation coefficient of each dimensional score and the total score was 0. 875 ~ 0. 959,and when taking GSES as the criterion,the criterion validity was 0. 678. The principal factor decomposition method was used to extract 6 common factors. After removing the three entries which cannot classified into any factors,the cumulative variance contribution rate was 54. 504% . Conclusion The Long - term Condition Empowerment Scale (Chinese version)shows good reliability and validity,which in line with China′s national condition and can be applied in the middle - aged and aged patients with chronic diseases in Chinese communities.关键词
