鸡柏氏禽刺螨感染的初步研究
Preliminary studies on Ornithonyssus bacoti infestation in chicken
摘要
Abstract
The aim of the study was to determine the causes of an avian disease with characteristic lesions of papules and scab on the abdominal part and leg skin,which occurred in a poultry farm in summer of every years recently.The disease was primarily diagnosed according to the clinical symptoms,autopsy pathological changes and epidemiological characteristics.Then its preliminary studies including parasite examination,bacteria isolation,differential diagnosis and treatment were carried out by the conventional laboratory diagnostic methods and PCR technology.The results showed the haematophagous mites collected from the sick cocks were identified as Ornithonyssus bacoti (tropical rat mite),based on preliminary light microscopy and sequence analysis of a 576-bp PCR target fragments of the mitochondrial cytochrome oxidase subunit 1 gene (CO1),which showed 99％ sequence similarity to O.bacoti isolate OB by BLAST analysis.One strain of Staphylococcus agnetis was isolated from the papules lesions,and the S.agnetis strain was not lethal to KM mice and resistant to penicillin,amoxicillin,ciprofloxacin,ceftazidime,paediatric compound sulfamethoxazole,kanamycin and doxycycline etc.The disease was conclusively diagnosed as cock O.bacoti infestation,and the deratization,acaricidal and use of sensitive antibiotics will give good control effects.lt is the first report of avian O.bacoti infestation in China,and provides a basis for the studies and the prevention and control of haematophagous mites infestation in poultry.关键词
