Abstract
OBJECTIVE:To investigate the clinical application status and tendency of oral hypoglycemic agents (OHA) in Henan People's Hospital(hereinafter referred to as "our hospital").METHODS: Statistical analysis was conducted on the application data of OHA during 2013-2016 in terms of categories , consumption sum , defined daily dose system ( DDDs) and defined daily cost ( DDC) , etc.RESULTS:The consumption sum of OHA during 2013-2016 were respectively 513.2, 553.7, 599.5 and 678.2 thousand yuan , the consumption sum of inpatients with OHA were in an increasing tendency and respectively increased by 7.89%, 8.28%and 13.12%during 2013-2016, the annual increasing rate was 9.74%.The DDDs of inpatients with OHA were respectively 105187, 116529, 128007 and 145199, which also were in an increasing tendency and respectively increased by 10.78%, 9.85%and 13.43%.Four four years , the top three OHA ranked by DDDs were respectively acarbose , metformin and gliclazide .The DPP-4 inhibitor had a promising future , its increasing rate of consumption sum took the lead of the consumption sum of OHA . Yet the market share of insulin agonist and sulfonylurea insulinotropic agents decreasing significantly .CONCLUSIONS:The application of OHA in our hospital is basically rational .Patients with type-2 diabetes mellitus need to take OHA for a long time even life-long.Therefore, safe, effective and economical application of OHA and maximization of patients ' benefits are still an essential task for the clinical staff to conduct the further research .关键词
