熔体剪切处理对高压压铸AZ91镁合金性能的影响
Effect of Melt Shearing on Property Improvement of AZ91 Mg-alloy via High Pressure Die-casting

Abstract
Melt shear process was employed to decrease the variation of properties of AZ91 alloy basing on the effect of grain refinement and dispersion of particles by shearing.The experiment results show that melt shear can refine the grain size of AZ91 alloy,increase the tensile strength and elongation and steady the properties.After shear treatment,the grain size can drop down from 700 μm to 230 μm.Yield strength,ultimate tensile strength and elongation can be increased by 17 MPa,20 MPa and 2.9%,respectively.Besides,the variation of elongation and ultimate strength is reduced from 3% to 1.1% and from 27 MPa to 13 MPa,respectively.The improvement is attributed to the dispersion of MgO via shearing,and subsequently the effective nucleation of primary α-Mg formed in the shot sleeve.Therefore,the variation of properties is reduced correspondingly.关键词
