Abstract
In order to reduce the energy consumption and prolong the network lifetime of Wireless Sensor Networks ( WSNs) , distributed fuzzy logic inference-based unequal clustering routing is proposed in this paper, which is marked as DUCF. DUCF protocol fully consider the residual energy of the node,distance to base station,and the de-gree of node. It makes some fuzzy rules,and calculates probability of cluster head and size of cluster through the fuzzy inference system. DUCF forms unequal clusters to balance the energy consumption among the cluster headers. Simulation results show that the proposed DUCF performs better in term of network lifetime and energy consumption as compared to LEACH,CHEF and EAUCF protocols.关键词
