摘要

Abstract

To study the influence of plasma on scramjet nozzle performance,O radicals,H radicals,and OH radicals were added in scramjet nozzle inlet condition to simulate chemical effect of plasma.The 9-specice andl9-step finite-rate chemical reaction models of H2/Air combustion,finite volume method with implicit scheme,and RNG k-ε turbulence models were adopted to calculate the chemical non-equilibrium flow in scramjet nozzle.The results show that the non-equilibrium effect can not be neglected in scramjet nozzle with hydrogen fuel working at the condition of Ma∞=11,h=40 kin.Lift and thrust will be enhanced by 3.63% and 2.21% when mass fractions of O radicals,H radicals and OH radicals are increased by 0.64%,0.15%,and 0.64%,respectively.Enhancement of scramjet nozzle performance is proportional to individually addition of O radicals,H radicals or OH radicals but accelerated with synthetically addition of these radicals,which proves that the performance of scramjet nozzle can be improved by chemical effect of plasma.
