Optimization on extraction process of phenolic constituents from Canarium pimela L.leaves by Box-Behnken design

Abstract
Objective To optimize the extraction process of phenolic constituents from Canarium pimela L. leaves. Methods The single-factor experiments coupled with Box-Behnken design were applied to evaluate the yields of index components and extraction ratio. Ethanol concentration,solid-liquid ratio,extraction method and time were selected as independent parameters. Results The optimal extraction conditions were as follows: ethanol concentration of 56%,liquid to solid ratio of 50∶1 (mL∶g) and refluxing for 78 min. The experimental comprehensive score was 98.60±0.47 which was close to the predicted value of 97.58. Conclusion The Box-Behnken design methodology was reasonable and practical with a good consistency between the mathematical model and the experimental data,which was suitable for optimizing the extraction process of the C. pimela L. leaves.关键词
