Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of perioperative blood transfusion on the prognosis of patients with bladder cancer after radical resection.Methods Clinical data of 139 patients with bladder cancer who underwent radical resection were retrospectively analyzed,including 118 cases in the blood transfusion group and 21 cases in non-blood transfusion group.The overall survival time,postoperative tumor recurrence rate,postoperative lymphadenectasis of surgical area and other organs metastasis were compared between the two groups.Results The proportions of the patients with postoperative lymphadenectasis of surgical area,other organs metastasis and recurrence of urothelial tumors in the blood transfusion group were higher than those in the non-blood transfusion group(P<0.05).The survival time of the non-blood transfusion group was longer than that of the blood transfusion group(118 months vs.21 months;P<0.05).Conclusion For patients with bladder cancer,perioperative blood transfusion can affect the recurrence rate and survival time,thereby it is necessary to weigh the pros and cons of perioperative blood transfusion.关键词
