摘要

Abstract

With aqueous methanol of volume fraction 30%, methanol and water as working fluid, start-up characteristics of pulsating heat pipe were studied under the operating condition of different heat inputs, filling ratio and inclination angles.Experimental results show that the type of start-up for mixing working fluids is similar to pure working fluids;the average temperature of aqueous methanol is between water and methanol in the condition of stable operation and is closer to water;the start-up time of pulsating heat pipe gradually decreases with the heat load inputs increasing.The start-up time of aqueous methanol is longer than that of methanol, but shorter than that of water with 50% filling ratio.However the start-up time of aqueous methanol is shorter than that of methanol with high filling ratio and low filling ratio at high heat load inputs;the start-up time of pulsating heat pipe gradually decreases with the inclination angles increasing.In the condition of identical inclination angle, the start-up time of working fluid with 80% filling ratio is longer than which with 20% filling ratio.
