Approaches of Wiebe parameter determination in SACI combustion processes

Abstract
An analysis of the spark-assisted compression ignition (SACI) combustion process was carried out with Wiebe function.The number of combustion modes was obtained according to the change of form factor (m) and relevance of m(Rm) in combustion process.The single Wiebe function, double Wiebe function and muti-Wiebe function were established.A weight fit method was used to improve the computational accuracy of m.The computation methods of combustion mode break point and combustion duration were proposed.By compared with computation results of three different Wiebe function, it can be seen that, adopting double Wiebe function is enough to keep the correlation coefficient (R2) higher than 0.95.By analyzing the computational accuracy with different Wiebe function, a combustion mode determination method based on the experimental data was proposed, and the accuracy was verified.关键词
