Dynamic Simulation of Non-circular Gear in Variable Speed Paper Feeding Device

Abstract
The elliptic gear pair is the driving mechanism of the variable speed paper feeding device, which can change the output speed and plays a key role in the performance of the whole device.Taking the elliptic gear in a non-circular gear transmission mechanism as an example, this paper established a virtual prototype and performed dynamic analysis in ADAMS.The results show that the driven gear of the elliptical gear pair exhibits a periodic nonuniform velocity motion, and the vibration pulse in the transmission process causes the fluctuation of its angular velocity.When the working load is 1 000 N·mm, the average meshing force of the gear is 57.164 N and the root mean square (RMS) is 300.4 729 N.The results provide the basis for the optimal design of the variable speed paper feeding mechanism.关键词
