Research on Accurate Algorithm for Extracting Linear Structured Light Center

Abstract
The accurate extraction of light stripe center plays an important role in the linear structured light three-dimensional (3D) recognition system.The interference of ambient light, reflection of measured objects and noise generated by the image acquisition system increase the difficulty in extracting the light stripe.This paper proposed an accurate and fast method for extracting the center of linear structured light stripe.Firstly, the image was preprocessed, and the center of linear structure light was detected by the edge method.Secondly, the average squared gray and gradient method was used to determine the normal direction of the structured light center.Finally, the center of structured light was extracted accurately through weighting the pixel in the normal direction.The experimental results demonstrate that the extraction accuracy of this proposed algorithm has reached the level of the sub-pixel.关键词
