Abstract
Objective:The purpose of this study was to evaluate the individualized operation treatment methods of maxillofacial skin cancer and the postoperative effect of surgical repair.Methods:One hundred aged patients with maxillofacial skin cancer were included in this study.Different surgical repair methods such as direct suturing,local random flap repair,local random flap and skin repair,skin repair,axial flap repair and free flap repair were chosen depending on the disease sites,invasion ranges and pathogenesis of the skin cancer.And the postoperative effect of surgical repair was observed.Results:Almost all the incisions were healed by first intention with the exception that one patient repairing with frontal flap suffered partial marginal necrosis and that two patients had partial necrosis.Only one patient had neck lymph node metastasis after 8 months after 36 months follow-up,and then regional neck dissection was performed.All of the patients have achieved satisfactory postoperative shape and function.Conclusion:According to the characteristics of skin,the location,invasion range and pathological features of skin cancer,proper individualized surgical designs should be used to restore the maxillofacial defects,to obtain good shape and function.关键词
