摘要

Abstract

Objective:To evaluate the gingival reccession(GR)values of thin gingival biotype/scalloped gingival,thick gingival biotype/flat gingival and thick biotype/scalloped gingival)after presaturated retraction cords treatment.Methods:The right maxillary central incisors from 30 participants were selected at random,and were divided into 3 groups:thin gingival biotype/scalloped gingival,thick gingival biotype/flat gingival,thick biotype/scalloped gingival.The changes of gingival position at the mesial,mid and distal buccal were record respectively by the digital single lens reflex from 0 to 180 seconds after removing the presaturated retraction cord.The GR values were measured by Photoshop CS6 software and then all the data were fit by Boltzmann equation.Results:The mid gingival displayed the largest GR value among all position in each group(P<0.05).The mesial position of thin gingival biotype/scalloped gingival showed smaller GR value than that of other groups(P<0.05).The period of 50% mid GR value was shorter than that of mesial and distal in thick gingival biotype/flat gingival group(P<0.05).The distal GR rate of thin gingival biotype/scalloped gingival is larger than that of thick gingival biotype/flat gingival(P<0.05).Conclusion:Gingival reccession could been easily presented to the thin gingival biotype/scalloped gingival after gingival retraction,so that more attention should be paid to such patients clinically.
