Abstract
Objective To report the causes, complications, treatment of intraocular foreign body.Methods The records of 40 patients (40 eyes) from July 2015 to September 2016 with intraocular foreign body were reviewed, include age, sex, causes, complications, treatment methods.Results 39 patients (97.5%) were male in 40 patients and averaged age was (40.28±10.81).The most popular causes of wound were spurt, 39 patients (97.5%).24 eyes choose lens removal techniques, 31 eyes choose vitrectomy.Conclusion Intraocular foreign body injuries were more common in young male, and follow with multiple complications, usually result in serious visual morbidity.Individualized treatment should be choose according to the location of intraocular foreign body and different complications.关键词
