Abstract
CHEN Shigong wrote Orthodox Manual of Surgery,attached great importance to syndrome differ-entiation and skills of "inspection,auscultation and olfaction,inquiry,and pulse-taking and palpation" on the basis of eight principles,flexible used syndrome differentiation according to viscera,meridians,etiolo-gy,qi and blood. He attached great importance to the overall and detailed locality and gained achiev-ements in syndrome differentiation according to the spleen and stomach. Viewpoints especially in distin-guishing between yin and yang,the pus,scrofula,breast carcinoma,goiter,laid a theoretical foundation for the development of surgery of TCM diagnostics and expanded the way of diagnosis.关键词
