Abstract

Inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) has the advantages of high sensitivity, fast speed, and wide linear range, and can be used for the determination of trace elements in fabrics.In this study, digestion of fabrics is carried out with microwave digestion method, determination of Ge content in fabrics is conducted with inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry, and a method is established for the analysis of Ge content in fabrics by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) with microwave digestion.Research results show that Ge has a good linear relationship within the range of 0.2-40.0 μg/L(R2=0.999 9);the limit of detection(LOD) of the method is 0.02 mg/kg;the recoveries of Ge spiked to real sample range from 82.6% to 107.8% (0.02,0.04,0.08,0.16 mg/kg), and the relative standard deviation (RSD) is 3.0%-9.3% (n=6).The method has the advantages of high sensitivity, high precision and low detection limit, which is suitable for determination of Ge content in fabrics.
