Survey and analysis of nurses' cognition and attitude on adverse drug reaction monitoring and reporting

Abstract
Objective:To probe into the cognition and attitude of nurses on the monitoring and reporting of adverse drug reaction (ADR),and put forward some reasonable suggestions about strengthening the role of nurses in the monitoring of adverse drug reactions.Methods:The nurses in the First Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu Medical College from July to August,2016 were investigated with the convenience sampling method.Results:The statistically scores of nurses'' knowledge about adverse drug reactions and monitoring report were(9.87±1.27).There were significant differences in knowledge of adverse drug reactions and monitoring reports among nurses with different age and titles.The higher the age was and higher the title was,the higher the score of nurses was.Nurses had a positive attitude towards the adverse drug reaction monitoring report and the knowledge training of adverse drug reactions,but hold the negative attitude to the related responsibility of the adverse drug reaction monitoring report.Conclusion:Nursing managers could reduce the incidence of adverse drug reactions by changing the concept of nurses,improve the level of knowledge about adverse drug reactions,and strengthen the responsibility of adverse drug reaction monitoring.关键词
