摘要

Abstract

The extra-long bridge across Xijiang river is an important bridge on Guangzhou-Foshan-Jiangmen-Zhuhai intercity railway. In order to determine the most suitable bridge type, this article compares and analyzes 4 bridge schemes, including steel truss arch bridge, steel truss cable-stayed bridge and low tower cable-stayed bridge following the design requirements for safety, functionality, cost-effectiveness and aesthetics based on clearance requirements for one-way and two-way navigation. Finally, the scheme of double 252 m steel truss arch bridge is recommended in view of construction difficulty, landscape effect, navigation condition, engineering cost and other factors.
