摘要

Abstract

In order to studied the effect of the different diameters SnO2 micro/nanorods on their lithium storage properties, a facile hydrothermal method to synthesize SnO2 micro/nanorods with various diameters were developed from tin (Ⅳ) chloride pentahydrate(SnCl4·5H2O) and NaOH by changing hydrothermal temperature, hydrothermal time, reactant concentration. The structures and their electrochemical properties of as-synthesized SnO2 rods are inves-tigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM), cyclic voltammetry, charge-discharge cycling and electrochemical impedance spectra, respectively. The results demonstrate that SnO2 nanorods with a diameter of 70 nm(sample B) have the best electrochemical properties with a first Coulomb effi-ciency of 61.36%and a specific capacity of 405.8 mAh/g after 30 cycles.
