Abstract
Monoethanolamine (MEA) has the advantages of fast absorption and high absorption capacity. It is the most commonly used chemicalabsorbent for capture of CO2. In this paper, the absorptionheat, desorption heat and absorption capacity of CO2 in the MEA solution were measured by a self-developed calorimetric system. The effects of CO2 loading, temperature, pressure and activators on the absorptionheat, desorption heat and absorption capacity were investigated. The results show that the absorption heat decreases with the increase of temperature. When the temperature is the same, the absorption heat decreases with the increase of CO2 loading and increases with the increase of absorbent concentration. The pressure has little effect on the absorptionheat, but the increased pressure could improve CO2 absorption capacity.The addition of activators reduces the absorption heat and desorption heat. Vaporization latent heat recovery in the desorption process can effectively reduce energy consumption.关键词
