摘要

Abstract

s: The activated carbon static adsorption method was employed to refine the coal-based ethylene glycol product, and the effects of the modification methods of active carbons and the sources of raw materials for preparing activated carbons on the UV transmittance and the color of the ethylene glycol product were investigated. The results showed that the quality of coal-based ethylene glycol product was significantly improved after adsorption treatment using the mixed activated carbon of wood charcoal and coconut shell charcoal, and the refining effect of activated carbon was better than that of catalytic hydrogenation. The effects of the sample storage time and the reference waters for testing were also investigated.
